Education:
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design
Job Responsibilities:
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
• Lead and support assembly design activities
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and quality teams
• Ensure designs meet technical standards and project requirements
• Modify and improve existing designs for performance and cost optimization
• Handle project timelines and ensure timely completion of design tasks
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in 3D design software such as Solid Edge (preferred), SolidWorks, or similar tools
• Working knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter software
• Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Candidates from road construction equipment manufacturing industry will be given preference
• Experience in heavy fabrication or construction machinery will be an added advantage
